Two bartenders from Toowoomba who now run the bar in three states.
The Barmen are Jack and Dylan. They started an exclusive bartending service in Toowoomba, moved it to Brisbane, and now run mobile bars, bartender and bar staff hire and cocktail masterclasses for weddings, corporate events and private parties across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Sydney, travelling through Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

What they do
A mobile bar that turns up with its own bar, glassware, ice and bartenders, sets up before the guests arrive and packs down after the last drink. Weddings, corporate events and private parties, with a cocktail menu written for the guest list rather than pulled off a shelf.
Alongside the bar they hire out bartenders and bar staff on their own, and run cocktail masterclasses in Brisbane, on the Gold Coast and on the Sunshine Coast. Every bartender holds RSA and RMLV, which on a wedding night is the difference between a good host and a liability.
From Toowoomba to three states
Jack and Dylan started The Barmen in Toowoomba on a straightforward conviction: that bar hire could be done far better than it usually is. The business moved to Brisbane, added mobile bars, proper glassware and a wider team, and now takes regular bookings from Bundaberg to Melbourne.
Their own line for it is “professional, but not too professional”, and it is a fair description of the work. The craft is serious; the night is still meant to be a party.
The wedding drinks calculator
The question every couple asks and nobody can answer is how much alcohol to buy. The Barmen's calculator takes the guest count, the hours the bar is open, whether spirits are being served and how heavily the crowd drinks, and turns it into a shopping list in Australian serving sizes: stubbies, bottles of wine, spirits and a champagne pour for the toast.
It updates as you type, nothing is submitted and nothing is stored. It is a planning tool rather than a lead form, which is why people use it.
What LINK built
A new website: a static build with no page weight, structured around the two things that get searched, which is the service and the city. Mobile bar hire for Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Sydney, bartender and bar staff hire, the three masterclass cities, the event types, the packages and the cocktail menu.
The old site ranked for the dictionary word “barmen” and little else, and not one service page named a city. The rebuild names them.
What it does.

The kit.
Gold on near-black, which is the room the bar is standing in rather than a colour chosen on a screen.
